My scanner quality pisses me off.
This is by far my best drawing, it is actually of Temari, Shikamaru, Gaara and Kankurou but my scanner is not big enough to get it all, and Valentine's was coming up, I thought it'd be perfect if I just cut off the top half. But the scanner really butchered the quality, I'm pissed because it's so much better than that in person, trust me!!

1. Yugioh GX Jaden That's Game (that's your best picture to me) - some of them didn't load though.
2. You're good at drawing whole figures, you should do it more often.
3. When you're just concentrating on the faces, I find that it's easier to pick a starting point where the bottom of the ear meets the face. I don't know if that'll work for you but that's what I do to make sure I get the right proportions.
4. It just takes practice!
I'm not very good at shading, (you can probably tell) but I am really meticulous and picky when I draw pictures like the one above. I suck at drawing whole bodies, just can't do the clothes for some reason, so I stick to faces for the most part. (as you can tell if you look at my gallery)
